Catherine Haney B.Hsc., LL.B., LLM Notary Public

Catherine is a Gold Coast local.  In addition to a Bachelor of Laws, Master of Laws and Health Science degrees, Catherine has a long and distinguished career in nursing and administration.  Catherine was nominated for a Women 88 award during the Australian Bicentennial receiving a Bicentennial Medallion. The Awards sought to identify women in our community who have consistently demonstrated such qualities as leadership, compassion, humanity and courage in their life work.

Catherine spent several years on the committee of the Gold Coast Law Association including the appointment as President.

Catherine has extensive experience in administrative law, estate administration, elder law and Veterans’ Affairs, while also actively involved in the commercial and property practice of the firm. Catherine is a Notary Public in Australia and New Zealand.

Lisa Clements LL.B., M.A.R.N.9788885

Lisa has extensive experience in Property investment and migration law. Lisa specialises in all visas and has achieved a remarkable success rate in assisting many people from all over the world to relocate to Australia.

Andrew Budd B.Ec., LL.B

Andrew obtained his Bachelor of Economics degree majoring in accountancy from Sydney University in 1979. Andrew has a varied background in public company administration and small business, having been self employed for

13 years before obtaining his Bachelor of Laws Degree from Bond University in 2000.
Andrew is involved in the commercial and property practice of the firm with a particular emphasis on leasing, business sales and purchases, management rights purchases and sales, commercial conveyancing and general commercial matters typically encountered by small business proprietors.

Mark Blomkamp LL.B;DIP.BUS.

Our legal system is extremely complex, and changes all the time.  It’s a full time job just to keep up with the changes. That’s what we lawyers do. The legal profession is becoming more about providing good strategic advice and guidance rather than focusing purely on generating documents for legal transactions. As a good lawyer Mark Blomkamp provides good advice based on past experience. And he can create your legal documents as well.   

Mark has a solid commercial/corporate and property background, strong technical skills and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. He is commercially astute and believes that positive outcomes are paramount to business success. Mark strives to understand the client’s businesses, their goals and their industry. Based on this understanding he has worked in partnership with clients to achieve effective commercial results.

Mark has been involved with a broad range of legal and financial matters, including negotiating and drafting contracts; restructuring businesses; loan finance; trusts and estate planning; and other commercial law issues.

His work-mix has also included a wide range real estate sales and purchases (residential, commercial and industrial), business acquisitions and disposals, commercial and retail leasing, body corporate and community management schemes, project management and joint ventures, development agreements.
